From Zero to Design-Complete in 3 Weeks? Challenge Accepted.
What can you get done in three weeks? Binge-watch a new series? Maybe learn a few chords on the guitar?
How about completing the full structural and civil design for a 2000-square-meter heavy industrial building, complete with a gantry and a 360-square-meter office space?
For the team at Nemean, that was our latest challenge. When a client came to us with this project on a fast-track program, we knew there was no time to waste. The goal was simple: deliver everything needed to keep the project moving, with absolutely no delays.
So, how did we do it?
There was no magic wand, but we did have a few powerful tools up our sleeves. First, we leveraged a full BIM (Building Information Modeling) package. This allowed our entire team to work together seamlessly in a digital environment, catching potential issues and optimizing the design long before a single shovel hit the ground. Think of it as a hyper-detailed digital twin of the entire project.
But technology is only half the story. The real key to our success was our commitment to proactive, clear communication. In a fast-track project, there’s simply no room for crossed wires or missed details. Our team stayed in constant contact with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring everyone was on the same page, every single day. We believe in ironing out the wrinkles before they can even form.
The result? A very happy client who received a complete set of structural and civil design drawings in just three weeks. No drama, no delays—just forward-thinking engineering delivered with speed and precision.
This project is a perfect example of what we love to do: take on a challenge, apply innovative solutions, and deliver superior results that help our clients succeed.
